Developing social good and value-adding products, Ayala seeks to enhance culture and behavior through experiences that address both macro- and micro-level problems. This mantra has led Ayala down an non-traditional career path, linking fashion, technology, performance art, media, education, community building, and design. Ayala has been honored by the Huffington Post and InStyle magazine for innovation and style in the digital new economy.
Ayala is the co-founder and Creative Director of Modavanti.com. Prior to Modavanti, Ayala was stationed in the Middle East documenting the digital youth movements of the Arab Spring, as well as producing historical fiction hip-hoperas to the music of Rihanna and Kanye West. Ayala has also previously worked for Teach for America, The Clinton Global Initiative in HIV/AIDS programming and the United Nations in conflict assessment.
Ayala has lived in the United States, Lebanon, Egypt and, Israel and travelled extensively across the Middle East, Europe and Africa. Notably in 2009, Ayala was selected as part of a United Nations special convoy into the Gaza Strip to survey conditions post-Operation Cast Lead.
